Game Recorder (Remote Control)
The Game Recorder can provide instant replay on any play. It is even possible to edit the plays, right in the Game Recorder, without the need of expensive external software. It can do 16x9 or standard definition of 4x3. It can record in the USA standard of NTSC or in European PAL.
For presentation purposes you can detach the game recorder from the HI-POD X3 & you can view the footage on the 7 inch screen, output to a tv, vhs or projector. And with the remote, you can control the Game Recorder from the comfort of your favorite chair. This very convenient when you are reviewing game film from your last game.
A reminder: The Game Recorder is included with the HI-POD X3
X3 Game Recorder

The new 7 inch game recorder is now built into the HI-POD X3. It acts like a 7 inch LCD screen, but is "Oh so much more". It contains a large capacity harddrive (40-80 gigabytes.), that can store all your plays for the entire season. The interface is quite intuitive, allowing you to cut every play. When you stop a recording, it becomes a separate AVI file. By stopping after every play, you break down the entire game. Each of the files are timestamped. This means that the file name includes the date and time, making a chronology of your game and even your season.

HI-POD Game Recorder Sample File and Codec

The HI-POD Game Recorder is a technological and cost Breakthrough. ($495) It is the simplest way to capture your plays, to immediately view footage (LCD screeen or TV) and to download (games or individual plays) into your computer for analysis.
The HI-POD Game Recorder is a 20 Gigabyte harddrive MP4 player and recorder. In addition to its great sports application, it can also be used as a music MP3 player, as a movie player, as a voice recorder and as a USB storage device.
The easiest way to demonstrate the new HI-POD Game Recorder is to provide you a sample file from a game.
The Game Recorder captures in an AVI format, (a standard Windows/MAC file format) but requires a Divx codec for your system to actually see the file. (Once the Divx codec is installed, your Windows Media Player (or Quicktime) will be able to see and play the files)
Below we are providing a link for you to download a sample Game Recorder file. Your Windows Media Player may already be able to play the AVI file with its current list of codecs. (Right-click and save to your computer)
First try to open the file with Windows Media Player (or MAC Quicktime). If you are unable to see the file then you must download the Codec. The Divx codec is free. It is available at the following website.
After downloading and installing the Divx Codec, restart your computer. This insures that all your programs will properly see the codec.
We are confident that the HI-POD Game Recorder will change the way you record your games. No more tapes needed. No more capturing to computer. And no more late Friday nights breaking down your game. Your wives will love you.
